It fits perfectly!!! After spending over $500 for a lens - I couldnt take a chance that my lens would be damaged from the cheaper TMR. Please beware that even though that particular lens requires that specific size mount ring - Canon does not regularly stock it. I commend the sales representatives at B&H Photo went out of their way to assist me with my tripod mount ring oncerns!! I definitely am a very satisfied customer!!
